​Brunei Darussalam reiterates its commitment to promoting inclusivity in education, science, and culture. This includes ensuring quality education for everyone, encouraging research and innovation while supporting marginalised groups and preserving and promoting culture amidst the digital age. Speaking at the inauguration of the 7th SEAMEO Centres Policy Research Network, CPRN Summit, the Minister of Education explained that Brunei Darussalam is also actively participating in efforts to build a future-ready Southeast Asia. Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh explained as diverse as is Southeast Asia with the rich cultural heritage and values, mutual respect and understanding amongst nations has been integral to regional integration and cooperation, ensuring regional development and addressing inclusivity regardless of socio-economic background.

With the theme 'Embracing Inclusivity in Education, Science, and Culture,' the summit included presentations that highlighted the importance of understanding and addressing the impacts of global mega-trends on technical and vocational education and training, T-VET. Held for 3 days by the SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre, the summit gathers policymakers, researchers, educators, and stakeholders from various countries.
